@Kinespojken Apparently this is possible do a google search for ‘Chucklohr 808′ and have a look at chuck’s site for more info.

Hey Lad, How do you create New file to change date and time??
By chimbazwe, June 3, 2010 @ 8:19 am
Thanks for a thoughtful and well presented review. At KipKay.com you can see one opened up. The larger file size must be due to a higher resolution image I’m guessing. I was thinking about using it as a “witness” while driving or bicycling. By the way I thought your voice/dialect sounds a mix of James May and Nick Parks “Wallace”. That’s fine company.

@Techmoan Probably the same way as you mounted it to your helmet
As for the webcam Q – found the answer on chucklohr’s site.

@crayton11… This just worked for me! You’ll likley have a .txt file somewhere on your computer… so go to C drive and do a random search for any “txt” file. Copy one and paste it somewhere, rename it TAG.txt add text like he does at 8:20 and then copy onto fob. Simplez

how do i set the time and date on the camera still dont get the way you done it?
By Techmoan, June 5, 2010 @ 1:14 pm
@MultiGeekster Apologies if this explanation sounds patronising – it isn’t meant to, but I don’t know your technical level
On your computer you need to create a document (like writing a letter) – Load up Wordpad or Text edit or Word etc. Start a blank letter and type the time and date info as demonstrated. Save this document using SAVE AS – and pick Filetype .TXT Name the document TAG.TXT Plug in the camera to your PC and copy TAG.TXT across to the SD card. For more info see Chucklohr website.

How does this record without the memory card? All the ones that are being sold on ebay DO NOT include the memory card with your purchase.
By Techmoan, June 6, 2010 @ 7:44 pm
@hpw59 It doesn’t. You need to buy a card.

@Techmoan sorry to bother but just got mine today and it seeems tt the video tends to skip slightly every now and then. running on a 4gb mem card that i purchased together and i think it’s a class2 card. could this be due to the type and make of memory card?

Hi,
Thanks a lot for your useful reviews. It really helps to pick the best of toys:)
If I may ask a final question. How do you switch the time and date completly off so you cant see it on the video?
thank you
By Techmoan, June 9, 2010 @ 3:36 pm
@turpi27 I crop it out by making my videos in 16:9 ratio – but I believe that there is no way to actually turn it off.

Hi! What is max length of recording?
By JohnQPerson, June 9, 2010 @ 9:59 pm
Great review. I am surprised how good the image is from such a small device. It makes you wonder why a regular security cameras image is so bad. I purchased 2 of these but I’m still waiting on the memory card to arrive. Thanks for uploading.

great review, thanks. liked the quick comparrison with other model.
(just bought one of these, and lighter version, off ebay. unbelievable how cheap. only bought 2gig tf card, so think will have to get 8g if 1g = 11mins)

What camera are you using in the first place? It’s a Sony what? How much is it (Sony)?
By Techmoan, June 10, 2010 @ 8:14 am
@666Broange666 Its a Sony TG3 (aka the TG1 in the US) – the new version of this is the TG5 (aka the TG7).

Thanks, Dude. I say the AEE is much better than DVK808.
